Prof. Dr. Alparslan Baksu

Early Education and Medical Training

Prof. Dr. Alparslan Baksu’s educational foundation was laid in Sartmahmut, progressing through Salihli High School, and culminating with a medical degree from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1985. His early medical career began at Hatay National Education Health Education Center, followed by specialized residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital from 1988-1992.

Professional Journey and Achievements

Served as chief assistant at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital from 1993 to 2012.
Visited the Department of Gynecological Oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto in 2007
Received the title of ‘University Associate Professor’ in 2010 and was appointed as ‘Professor’ in 2015.
Taught as a faculty member at Nişantaşı University post-retirement.
Founded Ota Aesthetics and Beauty Center in Istanbul in 1997 and continues to be actively involved.
Has been working at Ota & Jinemed Hospital as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist and as the Director of the IVF Centre since 2015.

Educational Contributions

Played an instrumental role as an instructor in the ‘Reproductive Health Assistant Training and Reproductive Health Service Quality Improvement Project’ in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Foundation and the Ministry of Health, supported by UNFPA in 2002.
